Independent app development & IT
Technology built around how your business actually works.
I design, build and support apps, websites, integrations and practical IT for small businesses. You work with me directly — not a sales team, then a designer, then a developer you never met.

Selected work (anonymised)
The kind of work I actually take on
Professional services
Internal workflow tool
A core process lived across email, shared documents and spreadsheets, so nobody had a reliable view of what was done.
The work happens in one place. Status is visible, and the steps that used to get dropped no longer depend on someone remembering to chase.
Specialist service business
Service website rebuild
The existing site listed plenty of services but did not help a visitor decide what to do next, or trust that the next step would be answered.
The offer is obvious on the first screen. Enquiries come in with enough context to start a useful conversation, instead of a vague contact form.
Small operations team
Connected systems
The same customer or job data was copied between a form, a CRM and a spreadsheet, which created delays and avoidable mistakes.
Data moves once. Failures are visible. The people who run the process can see what happened without rekeying it.

You work with me directly
I am Matthew Cordon, the person behind MJCIT. I help small businesses, founders and professional service firms design, build and support apps, websites, integrations and practical IT solutions. You work with me directly from the first conversation through launch and ongoing improvement.
I start with the business problem rather than a favourite tool. That might mean shaping a first version of an application, improving an existing digital service, connecting systems that do not talk to each other, or providing clear technical guidance when you need a second opinion.
One accountable owner from discovery through handover. No implied 24-hour coverage, and no unnamed delivery team.
Common questions
What types of project do you take on?
I work on defined app, website, automation and IT improvement projects for small businesses. Send a short outline and I will confirm whether the work fits MJCIT or whether a different specialist would be better.
Can you improve an existing system?
Yes. I can review the current product, codebase or workflow and recommend the smallest useful set of changes. Access and technical quality are assessed before I commit to modifying an inherited system.
How do projects start?
We begin with a short call. If there is a good fit, I provide a written scope covering the intended outcome, deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, timing and commercial basis.
How much does a project cost?
The cost depends on scope, risk and the level of design or integration involved. After an initial conversation, I will recommend a fixed discovery stage, a defined project price, a day rate or a retained arrangement.
Do you provide ongoing support?
Support can be agreed as part of the project handover or as a separate retained service. The response time, included work and exclusions are written down so both sides know what is covered.
